Auto Auction of the Year for Excellence in Community Service and Chapter Auto Auction of the Year Awards

Let your auction employees know you appreciate their volunteer efforts that
make a difference. Apply for NAAA's “Auction of the Year Award for Excellence in Community Service” contest and win a total of $25,000 for the charity of your choice! Here’s how:

Purpose of the Award

Auto auctions have a long philanthropic tradition of public spiritedness, so to recognize the many charitable acts auctions already perform and to encourage even greater volunteerinvolvement, the National Auto Auction Association established the annual “Auto Auction of the Year Award for Excellence in Community Service.”

The prestigious award, first presented at the 2016 NAAA national convention, goes to the auction with the most outstanding service conducted by members of its auction staff.

In addition to highlighting the benevolent work and public service conducted by NAAA member auctions, we hope this recognition inspires others in the remarketing industry to take action by volunteering to make positive changes in our world.

What the Winner Receives

The two-tiered competition requires candidates to contend first for the “Chapter Auto Auction of the Year Award” in their respective Eastern, Southern, Midwest and Western regions. Those four finalists will then vie for the honor of being named NAAA Auto Auction of the Year.

Each of the four chapter award recipients will be honored with the following:

• A crystal trophy displaying the auction’s name presented at the NAAA Convention Gala
• $5,000 payable to a charity of the auction’s choice
• Recognition with a photo in NAAA’s On The Block magazine and annual
  Membership Directory
• Qualification to compete for the national award

The winner of the Auto Auction of the Year Award for Excellence in Community Service receives:

• A large crystal loving cup with the auction’s name prominently displayed presented at the
  NAAA Convention Gala
• An additional $20,000 payable to a charitable cause selected by the auction
• A cover photo and feature story in both NAAA’s On The Block magazine and the
  Membership Directory
