Celebrating 25th Anniversary

The 2013 World Automobile Auctioneers Championship will be held Friday April 5, 2013 @ 9 am at Alliance Auto Auction - Waco Texas. This 25th Anniversary will find the best automobile auctioneers and ringmen in the world vying for the coveted title of World Champion Automobile Auctioneer, World Champion Automobile Ringman and World Champion Team. Contestants from the United States, Canada and around the world are invited to compete for $12,500 in prize money and the title of "the best in the business"

This year's judges include some of the top names in the auto industry and auctioneer profession: Jack Neshe President Elect National Auto Auction Assn., Manheim President Sandy Schwartz, ADESA President Tom Caruso, ServNet President Pierre Pons, Angela Crooke America's Auto Auction, JJ Dower President National Auctioneers Assn., Mike Jones President United Country, and Mike Tummenillo President Sanford Auto Dealers Exchange Sanford Florida.

The 25th championship is dedicated auctioneer legend, 1994 World Champion Auto Auctioneer Gene Radcliffe for his lifetime of dedicated and unexcelled service as one of the top auto auctioneers in the great profession. Gene will be on hand for a special recognition. All past World Champion Auto Auctioneers have received a special personal invitation to attend this 25th Anniversary celebration.

Alliance Auto Auction Managing Partner Tim Adams and World Automobile Auctioneer Championship President Paul C Behr have issued the following joint statement "We invite all automobile auctioneers and ringmen to enter the World Championships, we will roll out the red carpet for you with some special Texas hospitality, see you in Waco". Alliance Auto Auction regular auction day is Friday, a large consignment of vehicles and a large turnout of buyers and sellers are expected.

The 2013 WAAC will again be broadcast live starting at 9 am CT on NIADA.TV, NIADA.COM, WAACNET.NET, www.worldwidecollegeofauctioneering.com , autoconsumer.com. Last year 114,855 viewers watched the championship and cheered on their favorite auctioneer & ringpeople.
