ABC St. Louis Named GM Auction of the Year

ST. LOUIS —General Motors has presented Auction Broadcasting Company St. Louis with the 2013 Auction of the Year award. The annual award recognizes the auction for its unwavering commitment to reconditioning, repairs and customer service.

“Since GM first joined forces with ABC St. Louis in 2010, the auction has consistently provided great service, product and results,” said Dan Kennedy, GM Remarketing’s manager. “The team has taken their operation to the next level. With 40 percent of their vehicles selling online, they are continuing to push the limit to provide customers with the very best experience and vehicles.”

This is the first time ABC St. Louis has been honored with the Auction of the Year Award. The auction was selected from the 33 GM Sponsored Auctions nationwide.

“We are honored to have received this award from General Motors, and I thank them for allowing ABC St. Louis to join their auction network three years ago,” said Jason Hockett, President of ABC. “Our slogan at ABC St. Louis is that an auction is only as good as its people. I am thankful for our strong team, and I attribute our growing sales to the work they do to provide our customers with the very best experience each day.”

The auction sold more than 4,500 vehicles in 2013 and was a strong contributor to GM’s FrontLine Ready and GM Sponsored Plus programs. Both programs are part of GM and the respective auction’s commitment to providing the highest quality vehicles to end customers.
