NAAA’s Second Safety Briefing to Focus on Safety Program Essentials and Best Practices

Safety experts, industry leaders and auction members will gather at ADESA Boston to share their knowledge for safety’s sake at NAAA’s second safety briefing on July 25.

The one-day event, Safety Briefing II: Safety Program Essentials and Best Practices, will feature presentations on preparing an effective emergency response plan, better bollard design for a safer auction arena, proactive workplace safety training and NAAA safety certification for all employees.

Also included on the agenda is a discussion about new standards for lane safety, a report on the history and results of KAR Auction Services safety program, a study of accident videos, an overview of OSHA’s 10-hour course to improve industrial workplace safety, and a session on the key elements of developing a solid safety program for specifically for the auto auction industry.
