Discover who we are at NAAA—our leadership, mission, and commitment to supporting the auto auction and vehicle remarketing community.
In 1948, just a decade after the first wholesale auto auction opened, a small trade organization called the National Auto Auction Protection Association was founded.
Today, the National Auto Auction Association (a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit) has grown to over 340 regular auction members and 140 associate members representing most segments of the vehicle remarketing community.  Our mission is to promote and support the interests of our members and safeguard the wholesale auto auction industry.
Toward that end, we adhere to a Code of Ethics and adopt recommended industry standards that together build confidence and trust in the auction businesses of our members and the wholesale auto auction industry. We further serve our members through education and advocacy.
