PETER S. LUKASIAK
1988 – 2002 Executive Director

Lukasiak was appointed Executive Director of NAAA in 1988. He
took over for long-time Executive Secretary Bernie Hart after his
announced retirement at the end of 1989. Lukiasiak and Hart shared
responsibilities during 1989. Lukasiak was asked by the Board to
relocate the NAAA headquarters near Washington D.C. He was the
former director of publications for NADA and his association back-
ground includes grassroots work for the U.S. aluminum manufacturing
industry and a decade in communication at IBM. After 14 years with
NAAA, Lukasiak retired at the end of 2002.

Bernie Hart retires as Executive Secretary, and Peter Lukasiak is hired as Executive Director.
