Membership That Works For You

As an NAAA member, you gain access to exclusive benefits, industry insights, and a nationwide network dedicated to advancing the auto auction profession.

These resources are designed to strengthen your business, elevate professional standards, and help you stay competitive in a changing marketplace.

Legislative Support

NAAA has an active Legislative Committee (comprised of attorneys and auction veterans) that meets weekly throughout the year. The committee tracks legislative and regulatory issues (including the shift to e-titles) at both the state and federal level that impact our member auctions. We partner with other industry associations and groups to advocate and lobby on behalf of our members. In recent years, NAAA has successfully lobbied on legislative issues that could have cost our members millions of dollars.

AuctionNet®

Through our wholly owned subsidiary, NAAA Services Corporation (“NAAASC”), we license AuctionNet® to remarketers and other major industry players. AuctionNet is the largest and most trusted source of wholesale used vehicle remarketing data, powered by 265 NAAA member auctions. These auctions submit sales data weekly and become eligible for an annual incentive (that may vary each year) as approved by the NAAASC Board.

Training

Core to the association is providing free or low-cost training for our members. Employees of NAAA members can participate in our free safety training curriculum and job specific training. We recently added cybersecurity training at a deeply discounted rate of $299 per year per rooftop for all employees of a NAAA member (up to 500 employees) through a partnership with a leading provider of cybersecurity training (Wizer); so if you have 50 employees, the cost is only $6/employee for a full year of training. We have also partnered with ConditionReports.com to offer both in-person and online training courses focused on inspections, arbitration, and structural damage on a per attendee fee basis.

The Foundation

The NAAA Warren Young, Sr. Scholastic Foundation (“NAAAWYSSF” or “Foundation”) offers two programs exclusively to regular auction members:

  1. The annual scholarship program that awards at least $140,000 for post-high school education at accredited colleges or vocational institutions for full-time employees of member auctions or their corporate owners. This program also extends to children, step-children and grandchildren of those same employees.
  2. The Mike Browning Auction Employee Relief Fund (“Browning Fund”) provides financial assistance to active employees of member auctions who have experienced a major financial loss due to a natural disaster or other catastrophic life event beyond common day to day expenses or losses. The Browning Fund was used extensively following both Hurricane Ian and Hurricane Milton.

Events

NAAA sponsors events each year that allow you to network with other players in the industry and stay current with the latest trends:

  • The Spring Remarketing Exchange (“SRE”) is a joint event in partnership with the Automotive Remarketers Alliance (“ARA”, formerly “IARA”) bringing consignors, auctions, and vendors together in one forum.
  • The World Automobile Auctioneers Championship (“WAAC”) brings in the top auctioneers and ringmen to compete for the title of World Champion.
    • WAAC 2026 happens on May 1st in Memphis, TN
  • The World Remarketing Convention (“WRC”) and formerly the annual NAAA Convention) is held each fall.
    • WRC 2026 takes place September 28-October 1 in Seattle.

Industry Insights

NAAA’s annual Market Intelligence Report delivers critical insights into key industry-wide results including volume, conversion rate, and average vehicle values. The survey also plays a vital role in educating legislators and the auto industry at-large about the significance and far-reaching influence of NAAA auctions. In addition to the annual Market Intelligence Report, monthly market reports from AuctionNet are exclusively shared with members of NAAA.

Committees

NAAA committees are a forum for members to create recommended guidelines for the industry to follow as well as the development and implementation of other initiatives. Our committees focus on providing resources aimed at helping our members be more successful and in maintaining NAAA as the Gold Standard in the remarketing industry.

Member Advantage Program

Based on NAAA membership, the following offers are provided by other entities in the remarketing industry:

  • Wizer
  • AutoInsights
  • Crystal Clean

Branding & Marketing

Membership in NAAA is the symbol of a quality auction–the Gold Standard, when it comes to remarketing of used vehicles. Many consignors only offer their vehicles at NAAA member auctions and membership allows you to utilize the NAAA logo in your marketing efforts, including your website.
